I am curious if anyone has had experience using the Roloff Revolver 2 chain tool and if so, can you tell me if the tool is compatible with the narrower 10-speed chains such as the SRAM PC-1090R? I have viewed Roloffs site (http://www.rohloff.de/en/products/revolver_2/index.html) and read the product description for the tool which makes reference to 10-speed chains as narrow as 6.5mm but the PC-1090R is only 5.9mm wide so I am left to ask will this tool work with the narrower chain?
Edit - Okay never mind as I just noticed Roloffs FAQ’s which state the following:
Because 10-speed chains have no pin projecting ends, we recommend not to use the Rohloff Revolver 2 for riveting such a chain.
