I’ll be on my old red Felt TT700 with that funky shiny Renn Kaiser disc. Don’t look at it, 'cause it’ll blind you!

I’m in. 4th year in a row, 1st race with the new red K Factor. If any of you are one of the 10-15 30-34 males that will pass me on the bike, say hi when you cruise by.

I’m in and crossing my fingers for surf bigger than last year (and I’m a horrible swimmer).

The real ST-approved question is: will any AG’s break an hour on the bike? I won’t but I’ll do my darndest to make it close.

I don’t think the surf will be anything like last year alas.

No-one broke an hour on the bike last year. Maybe if we get a tailwind someone will but it won’t be me unless it’s blowing a hurricane out there.

I’m not racing this year, but I’ll probably walk the 400 yards from my apartment to Highland Ave. to cheer people on.

PS. I’ll be rolling the course in the gutter in my orange and blue Triathletix kit cheering on STers, Craig Pansing, and Pete especially. Then parked on Hwood Blvd just after the turn from Highland (in front of Sbux) sucking down a frap and loud on the vocals.

I was there did the sprint had a blast! Where are results posted? Man Brian from LA tri club is a machine in the 40+ I was with him til the first mark then bam he just took off,.

Was that on Sunset? I saw the mess and it wasn’t pretty but I don’t know what happened. I think they were putting someone on a stretcher when I went through. The car was pretty smashed up, I didn’t even see a motorbike.

My goals went out the window when I found out that an injury from a couple of weeks ago decided to flare up and stop me running properly. I think I made a bad dinner choice on friday night too as my stomach was screwed all weekend. Weirdly, despite being slower than last year I placed higher. Looking at the results today, all the swim times are slow.
