Well, if my doc says I can go, in 2 weeks I will be on the road in the motor home starting the ride to Oregon.
Keeping my fingers crossed we have nice weather.
Anyone know what the water temp in the lake is?
So, where are most folks staying? I am going to just find some street and park the motor home. Got to find some way
to save a few bucks after what gas is going to cost me.
My wife always bugs me about this, but to date, never been an issue. If I am parked in a housing complex, I see no difference
if its a owners RV on the street or mine. I just make sure I am quiet, and do not turn on the generator in the morning.
But, one of these days, … :o(
I’m in & our local triclub is putting on organized open water swim with multiple distances from 800m to 2.4 mile on Sunday in lake so I’ll report back with the water temp. I’m doing the 2.4. I ride my bike to & from the swim for ~ 80 mile. Makes for a nice training day.

Why not just park in a Walmart? They invite people to do that.
On a side note I see that AG nationals are in Oregon next year as well. It would be nice to be in a different location.
My wife and I will be traveling out to Portland on the 28th. This will be my first USAT Nationals back since the Kansas City “rain out”. I am excited. Should be a quality race as I see a lot of the “top guns” will be there. I see guys like Christopher Martin, former USAT National Champ Jeremiah Mushen, Philippe Kozub, Adam Zucco, Kirk Framke, JJ Bailey, and Boris Fernandez. And that’s just the Male 30 - 34 year old division. My money is on the overall winner coming out of the 30 - 34 year old division. But, don’t discount Ben Collins (last years runner up) John Ryan, Zach Winchester, Justin Park or Eric Bell in the 25 - 29 division. The 35 - 39 year old division looks stout with Mark Carey, Brett Reagan, Timothy Valley, David Reeback and Craig Greenslit just to name a few. And then we have the 40 - 44 year old division. Bill Reeves, Donny Forsyth, Chris Peeters, Brian Bich, Doug Vander Weide are all primed and ready to race well. Plus, throw in Patrick High, Jeff Cuddeback and Tony Schiller in the 45 - 49 division and it’s going to be an old fashioned “shoot out” in Oregon on the 30th. Again, it’s good to toe the line with the Nation’s elite triathlon talent. I look forward to the challenge. See you in Portland. Bruce Gennari
ST Name… Real name… Staying at…
brider… David Tollefson (40-44 AG) Motor Home (rented)
We’re looking at renting a motor home near Portland to spend a bit less than 2 hotel rooms for 2 nights. So I may just see you in that Wally World parking lot. We won’t be coming into town until Friday morning, though.
And I’m actually looking forward to having nat’s at Hagg Lake again next year. The house-buy has really screwed up my training over the last month, and I’m not dirt poor to boot.
I’ll be out there for my first AG Nationals. I’m mostly going as a vacation with my wife to the NW. We’re from central FL. We are staying in Beaverton.

They always have Nationals in the same location for 2 years in a row. Oregon is the best location they’ve had so far in my opinion. But I’m biased. I went to college there.
I’ll be there. Maijaleena Zucker, F25-29. This will be my will be my 4th trip to AG Nationals if you count the rain out of 2005. I’'ll be staying in Hillsboro.
