I want to buy new race wheels. My current road race wheels are Rolf vigors. I like them very much. I don’t really need them as much as I want something new just because. I would use these new wheels for road racing, TT and some sprint tri stuff. I like the paired spoke pattern of the Rolf wheels so I am a bit more interested in the Rolf tdf58 than the shimano 7801 carbon50 or a Zipp 404 wheelset. Does anyone have anything to say about the Rolf carbon tdf58? Do they flex at all? Do you think the paired spoke pattern is faster than radial/cross? Are fewer spokes the main aero issue?
Thanks in advance for any and all op/32 spoke suggestions. I have some of those wheels and they are indeed great for almost everything.
