RockMan Slowtwitch Contest!

What animal sound was being made by the idiot driver - if you know - you know.

Winner gets a technical Tee! (thanks to Brian Stover).

A hog. Now hand the Tee over.

The dude was riled up pretty good, and he had your life in his hands. I was a little concerned for you. It was a classic ride with the Chipster.

I have no clue so I’ll make a guess.

Heeeehaaaaw ?

You know it was not a hog.

Mooooo Cow!

Dude - you were the one on the too big fixie single speed, with shoes two sizes to big, three pairs of socks, no helmet and no brakes on pursuit bars!!! LOL…yes, it was a classic ride.

We were riding the run course in Rockcut SP on Friday evening. It was my first time riding a fixie, and I was shitting bricks already trying to control the damn bike when this redneck driver got hostile behind the wheel: “Get the hell out of the road! Ride single file, goddamnit!” Little did he know he was dealing with the infamous Chipster, Little Tornado of the Midwest…

Chip layed into him pretty good, telling him the speed limit inside the park was 20 mph. A few words were exchanged, and the engagement ended without loss of blood… I thanked the Lord underneath my breath.

But then what did our Zenmeister the Chipster do? He and two buddies buddies overtook the car and blocked both lanes at exactly 20 mph to make his point. The driver played it cool for a few minutes (employing reverse psychology, I believe), but then blew his lid and was speaking in tongues within five minutes, all this while driving mere feet behind Chip’s lycra clad ass. One gentle push on the accelerator pedal, and Rockman would have been a funeral.

I was a big chicken shit and decided to ride behind the car. I didn’t know whether to laugh or to cry. Jesus Christ Chip, take it easy man! You almost gave me a heart attack.

Okay - to set the scene.

BottomFeeder, Jordan Carr, Scott Brener and I decide to go for a ride on Saturday evening. I am on my Litespeed Ultimate, Brenner on an Ultimate, Carr on a Trek Equinox and BottomFeeder on a Bianchi Pista - fixie…with out brakes. We are all riding at dusk at Rock Cut State Park, sans helmets.

On the same decent as RockMan folks ran down we meet him. A guy is blowing his horn and yelling at us to “learn the rules of the mother fucking roads”. Well, the speed limit is 20, so I sprint past him (he was over 30) and get in front and slow down to 20. Jordan follows and we block him at 20. He stops and wants to fight…I invite him out of his truck for a dance…oddly he did not want to play. We then ride at 20mph with him behind us for the next 3/4 mile - all the while he has his head out the window making a particular animal sound…over and over and over.

Now…what was that sound? Bottom - dont answer!

Now you believe my stories?

Not a Cow - come on ST - for a super sweet technical Tee - what animal sound was this guy making over and over out his truck window?

You’re a piece of work, that’s all I’m going to say.

Actually I was cracking up pretty good when you told the story of your painting the garage pink with the large smiley on the wall to spite the HOA. I was looking for exaggerations, half-truths, cracks in the story, but I did not find any. When you tell the truth, you really do tell it like it is… which makes me crack up even more.

a chicken?

Yes sir - stuff like that seems to find/follow Chip wherever he goes. Fun to be around for sure, but you better be on your guard as you WILL be in for some sort of an adventure if you are around him long enough

A goose? Honk-honk

cluck cluck cluck

God sent a deciple to paint my garage…and I have folks who will back me up on that (as they were here). I had a messanger from god show up to piss off my neighbors…amen.

What sound does a Giraffe make?

None.
