Rockman HIM smackdown, prev PRs

So to everyone that is planning on this smackdown, what are your HIM prs before this? lets hear’em, and we can all start talking smack about how fast we really are, as we all know results lie;-)

Im not involved in any Smackdown, but I will be there.

Previous PR: 4:40—Swim 36, Bike 2:34, Run 1:30
Rockman Goal: 4:20—Swim 35, Bike 2:25, Run 1:20.

AF

I’ve never done a HIM so no PR. My HM PR is 1:44:xx, and my last oly swim was around 24 minutes. Neither is that great, but I’m an old guy. No idea of my bike time. I’d be looking to finish somewhere between 5:30-6:00.

I think 5:15 is my best at the Great Floridian 1/2 in 2004. 0:39 swim, 2:51 bike, 1:41 run.

There’s a chance I may go 5:00 at Rockman if I can get in shape and stay in shape. Whoever is also shooting for 5:00, let’s have a SMACKDOWN!!!

5:07 PR. Im hoping for sub 5 at Rockman or Steelhead next year.

I went 4:59 at Racine last year.

I’m thinking a sub-5 at Rockman is possible. We’ll see how tough the run course is for Rockman. Racine is very flat, but I’ve had another whole year of training so it should be a good challenge.

pr: 5:03

goal: sub 5
.

4.21 in Clearwater. I am not taking part of any smackdown, I’ll just goas fast as I can. 4.1x next year hopefully.

Normally I am around 3x swim , 2.1x ride and 1.2x run.

No smackdown unless of course someone calls me out.

Paul

I think maybe you and afeltz! Geez, you guys hoping for a 1:20 run in a 1/2 IM?! Yikes - I’m presuming you studs are pretty young - still fast though.

newbz - can’t give up too much info to Erik right now (like with the Columbus marathon smackdown) as I don’t want to discourage the white one too much

Going to be 36 when the race rolls around next year. Figure to have few more years before I start slowing down.

I would imagine you have gone sub 5hr
.

aiming to crack 6 hours-- but i have no smackdown going on, just myself.

3 hour ride, 2 hour run, whatever on the swim, transition time, and a few minutes spare.

5:00?..Give me a handicap?

Anyway best is around 5:40-5:45, I’d like to break 5:30, but honestly don’t think this will be the course I do it on. The swim will be flat, the bike will be pretty flat except for a few miles in the park…the run, well…not so flat.

~Matt

You’re time is alot closer to mine than these other guy’s right now… 4:10-4:20?! HOLY CRAP! That’s not right.

~Matt

Hey Matt and Bottom Feeder We should have a 5 hour ish smackdown with a big group of us. 1/2 IM Pr of 6:00:XX ( I think they lied the finish clock said 5:59:52 when I crossed the line) That was my only 1/2 I know I can go much faster. It would give me something to shoot for at least. I think I can come close to 5 hours by June. Matt I will spot you 15-30 min’s (you decide, if that sounds fair to you), Bottom Feeder are you up for a challange?

Mike

MY HIM PR is a decidedly pedestrian 6:05 18 mos ago at the June 2005 Georgia Rock and Roll Man…possibly short swim, rolling bike, sorta flat run, and very hot/humid conditions on the run. My goal on this HIM is to go around 5:45 or so…

Spot

I’ll be there sporting a HIM PR of 5:05(38, 2:38, 1:44). Shooting for 4:45 or better…
I’m up for a smackdown.

Dano

spot, if you can run i think you’ll do better than that. your bike has really come along, mate.

Yeah 4:1x is unreal. But have you seen the pro times? 3:5x for Lessing and Born. Those guys really race these babies.

I can’t say no to a challenge, so I guess I have to say yes.

If there are handicaps, it would be cool if Chip lets us stagger-start so we all barrel into the finish chute together. Also, it would be cool to put something material into the Smackdown.
