I had a Topeak mini-morph that would suck out all the air and never put any back in. What else do you recommend?
What do you care about? Size? Weight? Convenience? Have a gauge (like the Lezyne)? I carry a Topeak Micro CF and it works great and is super lightweight. I usually do not carry gas when I ride alone (I’ll stop and patch my tube; call my old fashioned). If I were to always want gas too I’d look at the Genuine Innovation micro second wind road thing.
I’ve got a Lezyne Pressure Drive on my Soloist for training. Works great and I really like the bottle cage mount.

I like this guy, its pretty beefy and too big for most Aero freaks on here, but it has saved my ass countless times training. The foot peg really helps get a true 100+ PSI in the tire while inflating out on the road.

I love mine. It’s white and matches my bike. ![]()

+1. I have the pressure drive with gauge. Basically allows me to travel anywhere without bringing a track pump. Lezyne has top notch service, too.
I have used a Topeak Micro and the Blackburn AirStik. Both fit into a waterbottle flat kit, and do a decent job of getting a tire to 100psi (though it takes 200-300 strokes).
The Lezyne pumps seem to work pretty well. But I just use CO2. I can easily pack a couple of spare tubes plus a patch kit plus 3 CO2 cartridges in a tight little seat pack. So far I’ve never had to use more than 1. Although I may get caught some day. If I get more than 3 flats I figure I can wait around for help.
I usually just pack 2x CO2 and tubes for most rides, sometimes a cheap pocket pump that I pray I never have to use. Lots of people fret over mini pumps, I fret over making sure I have clean and bombproof tires (and liners, like them or not) for when I’m out in the sticks. To each their own.
Airstik SL Carbon
Another vote for Lezyne.
This time the alloy Road Drive, with the optional pressure hose. Sits in tight by the bottle cage never notice its there. Co2 for racing.
Floor Drive for Home use, and Swivel drive for travel when there isn’t much space.
I like my lezyne pressure drive. When you unscrew the top you pull out a rubber hose that threads onto the pump and onto the valve stem. You don’t have to hold the pump up to the wheel the whole time. I like that it comes with a mount to put it right next to your bottle cage.
A friend of mine thought the blackburn was better, so we raced. The lezyne won.
Lezyne 100% They make great pumps.
I have a Topeak Pocket Rocket Master Blaster http://www.topeak.com/products/Pumps/PocketRocket
Great little pump - solidly put together, extremely lightweight, pretty cheap, and has no problems getting your tire to high pressure. Only complaint I have is that it is quite small volume - this makes it easy to get high pressure but does mean that pumping up a tire takes a while. But then I figure it’s for emergencies only so a little bit of extra time pumping is neither here nor there.
Ive a genuine innovations second wind carbon its compact and works well if maybe a little pricey http://www.genuineinnovations.com/second-wind-road-carbon-mini.html
.
Check out the topeak racerocket as well…
