Sure this has been covered ad nauseum, but I’m looking for clincher tube recommendations (tried the search and even looked through all of Greg kopecki’s articles).
I’ve been using conti race tubes but in the last month I’ve got 2 slow leaks near the valve and I haven’t even had the bike out of the house (only guy I know to flat on a trainer).
I’d prefer something I could use for training and racing, so I guess something equal parts durable and fast. Anything I should try out or avoid?
I had used Conti race tubes for years but replaced them each year with new ones. Just about every tube I’ve used that I haven’t torn up has failed near the stem after a while.
A light tube I used to use was the Michelin Aircomp Ultra Light. I used to use that in my race wheels before I went to latex.
Personally for training I use the Forte brand from Performance bike and for Racing I use Vittoria Latex.
