Just curious…how well known are the events related in that movie coming out soon (Don Haskins, first all black team to win NCAA Basket Ball in 1966)?
I think my view of how well known is a bit skewed being in El Paso 
Well known to me, but then again I’m interested in College Hoops and that aspect of Am Hx anyway.

Depends on the demographic. Based on the “average age on ST” thread, the events depicted occurred well before most on the forum were born.
Oh, I suppose that would include the OP as well, wouldn’t it?
Seriously though, the events are not that well known to me and I’ve been fairly fanatical when it comes to the “major” sports through the years, including college BB. Should be an interesting movie as that time period was a very rough one for those involved.
