I wonder why they don’t have a lot of racing shoe choices.
I believe they used to have tons of choices in the past…I wonder what happened?
Anybody know?
Thanks!!!

Just a stab in the dark here, but with times being as tough as they are, they are probably reducing their overhead dramatically by reducing the variety of inventory they are stocking. I’d guess it’s pretty darn expensive to stock multiple brands/styles/sizes/widths of all those shoes!
Interesting. I live half a world away but often shop at RRS (its cheaper that way).
Speaking of road racing shoes, I asked them about the Mizuno Ronin 2 model appearing in other retailers catalogues and they said they have them in stock, just not advertised online yet, but “will be any day now” (or words to that effect). That was well over 2 weeks ago…
Might pay to send them an email if there’s something specific you want…

It’s pretty simple. From a retail perspective racing flats is the worst selling category in running. A lot of people nowadays will wear something like a Nike Skylon, Asics DS Trainer, etc. as a racing shoe and that’s if they even buy a separate shoe for racing.
This is a lot cheaper than RRS and do not require “membership”
Eastbay is has a better selection, IMHO
