I have just completed my first two Tri’s (Spint/Half IM). I am new to biking, and bought a Cannondale Ironman 2000 bike last fall. I have been profressionally fitted and I am very happy with my bike. I am considering purchasing a road bike in addition to my Tri-bike. I would like to be around 2500-3,000 $'s. Any recommendations on bikes?
You’ve got a heck of a lot good stuff to chose from in that price range. Go over on roadbikereview.com and read some of the reviews.
I’d stick with Cannondale because their road bike sizes and tri bike sizes correlate (i.e. if you’re a 56cm on the IM2000, you’ll be a 56cm on an R5000). Plus, they are an American company that makes great bikes.
