i have a nice tri bike but want a road bike for riding in the hills near here and maybe the occasional cycling race. i am looking at the specialized roubaix and the tarmac. each the entry level version-about 2000-2500. any thoughts on which to get? i am 38 and 5’8".
whichever is most comfortable. roubaix is a little more oriented to distance riding, the tarmac towards crit type racing with short, fast accelerations.
