Riser ring for trainer

Does anyone else think this could actually damage your front wheel?

you are supposed to put a tire on the wheel first.

Not if used properly…

had one for years and it has not damaged any wheels. Not even sure how it could. Think that you would have to put the wheel on it sideways and then jump up and down on it.

it cost more than a 2x4
.

I imagine if you use it to whack away at it, and have a decent swing, you could bend a few spokes…

Ha! Just seems like it pinches the tires a little. IDK. I kind of like the cycleops design better but I already own this thing. And yes! It cost me more than a phone book! :frowning:

I use an old kick board…I can’t believe the wheel grooves assist in anyway

I have a few trainers and blocks in my house, I have the kurt block and the saris block (not pictured). so long as you have regular ride pressure in your front tire, it wont harm it. and…you dont have to dump out the puddle of sweat that accumulates in the saris riser block.

I was just jerking your chain about the tire…
