If anyone on the board did this race on Saturday 8/4…could you let me know how it turned out? I had thought about doing it but had some questions about the course. Thanks.
I did it last year (06) in the midst of a cross-country drive. I loved it, but it could’ve been for a variety of reasons other than the race itself (my first time being in the area, being on vacation, etc.). It’s a point to point which was a bit of a headache planning and race morning, but in the end it was a neat feature. Bike course was very up and down but no long climbs. One cool feature is that you could stay in Ripon College dorms for like 20 bucks. That was great in the middle of a cross country drive, and my whole hallways was tri-geeks. It was like a dream college setting… i’d be happy to answer any specific questions though. Oh, and they give you a great tech shirt (my favorite one yet).
Thanks for the reply…I guess it was held on a new site this year on the other side of the lake and I was just wondering how it went. Glad you enjoyed it in 2006.
