RIP Mask from Tapout

Sad news for MMA fans, “Mask” the founder of Tapout died in a car accident. It’s shocking news to hear about someone so young and full of positive energy having left this planet too early.

I started watching the show Tapout after seeing ads during the TDF and found Mask to be a compelling and amazing person. He believed in other people with the same convinction he had in himself. He took a t-shirt company from nothing to over $100 million in sales in 2008. He was truly a bright star. RIP Mask.

That is sad to hear; I liked watching that show. His outfits/face paint were always outragegous but I gave hime credit for going out like that in public.

Mask was 45! I had no idea, until i read it in the news yesterday.

Sad day for MMA. He and the other guys at Tapout gave a lot of up and comers a chance when others did not.

RIP Mask.

That’s just what I did. Started watching Tapout, WEC Wreckage…Mask was “The Man” and I am very sad at his passing.

Along with his commercial success, he was a superior motivator and wrote the following, which I regard among the most inspirational words I have ever read:

“Life is full of influences it’s your application that sets you apart.”

***That’s something I wrote to myself and completely believe in. You can’t be scared to set out to do something in life because you believe it may be similar to something, or because you don’t know the clear cut path on how you’re going to accomplish your goal or dream! Just take a step towards your belief daily - fearlessly, wholeheartedly, digging and dreaming within yourself, believing that as you push on through sacrifice, you will one day stand alone on top of a hill that you created that now encourages and inspires others to chase their dream. Knowing that through tenacity and patience anything can be achieved. ***

Rest In Peace Mask

That sucks - and more proof that racing should be done on the race track.

Man…that guy was pretty cool to watch. He was totally into the sport of MMA. Sucks.

I like the fact that they sponsor all types of fighters, not just A level ones. Win, lose, or draw, if they sponsor you, they have your back.

SUN-SHINE!!!
