Jimmy Carter was the first president I was old enough to understand some of what was going on. He got me interested in nuclear power and was one of the sparks that got me into in science and engineering.
To be fair Trump’s Presidency is only halfway done. There’s the possibility (whatever probability one wants to assign) that the second one could be stellar in your opinion
In my town, not many have lowered their flag including town properties and schools. Don’t think his passing have many people caring, we are too in the moment…
Really? I’m surprised. Normally you guys just list the Democrats in reverse order:
worst - Joe
2nd - Obama
3rd - Clinton
4th - Carter
5th - Johnson
Of course, Carter just died, which puts him in the news currently, so that’s going to bump him up. But Joe’s still President, so maybe he should retain the top position. So would that be:
It’s probably recency bias, or because DJ is the worst president of (almost) any living person’s lifetime, but he’s probably not as bad as the 4 presidents leading up to the civil war or Warren G and Hoover.
It’s interesting that Lincoln is sandwiched between two of the worst.
It seems like most reputable rankings put Carter just below the middle. Saying he’s the worst except for Biden is just partisan MAGA uninformed nonsense.
