Hi Emilio…what do you think will work with the Fizik Transiro Aeris Long Distance Saddle while using the built in BTA holder? Please let me know, thanks!
The saddle alone appears to fit into the SP5 Saddle Pad 5, but I am not familiar with the BTA holder and how close it gets to the back of the saddle. Can you post a couple photo of the setup? Maybe top view and side view?
Thanks for the feedback…I’ve attached a few photos for you. The overall shape is almost identical to the Geb Stride…the Fizik is just completely flat upfront on the nose. Due to the shape of the back rails you’re sought of forced to include their BTA bracket. Please let me know your thoughts, thanks!
used to use the original back in the day and just ordered a pair of the new ones, one for the wife’s bike and one for mine. Looking forward to giving it a renewed try!

Nice to see your order come across my screen Mike. It has been a while. Just to be sure you ordered correctly, what brands and models do you and your lovely wife ride?
I have an old ISM Adamo Attack and ordered the SP5L SADDLE PAD 5 LONG since I believe the old Attack is the PN1.0 now. Looking forward to trying it out.

YOU NAILED IT. !00% correct, same size Saddle Pad 5 Long as would fit PN 1.0
You ordered the right size. I’m traveling today with a lot of downtime at airports so if anybody needs assistance in determining the proper size for their saddle post here.
Just a bump to inform those interested, we will be increasing the price of the Saddle Seat Pad from $48 to $60 on March 25. We pay our staff fair living wages, the cost of wetsuit rubber went up 20% on March 1.
Have been riding with the saddle pad for one week now, mainly up to 1.5 hours on the trainer - no long rides yet.
It does seem to provide an increase in comfort on these shorter rides - will have to wait for the long ride test.
One comment I have is based on an assumption the majority of customers looking for increased comfort may be riding longer distances, and so may well have bottle cages on the rear of their saddle. In my case, riding a Sitero, in order to fit the pad and retain the cage with the Sitero holder this meant cutting holes in the pad for the cage screws to go through. I know you are making these pads to fit a wide variety of saddles, each of which will have its own cage fit, so it would be impossible to allow for each cage fit scenario, but maybe let people know that they may have to “modify” the pad if using BTS cages.
We have had about a dozen people write us for advice on getting their pad to fit their BTS cage. Each had a different situation given brand and model of saddle and cage. None of them needed to cut their pad yet. But just to be proactive, we did offer up some basic solutions described here:
@Emilio wanted to send a thanks as I have someone with super sensitive bones and I’m suggesting the cover you made that fits our V8 saddle: SP7 Saddle Seat Pad 7 – De Soto Sport
I’m using one on my indoor trainer bike. I recently did Four Horseman on Zwift and had no saddle discomfort afterwards (though my adductors were thoroughly trashed).
I’m one of those who is never fully comfortable after a 4-5 hour ride.
