RIM TAPE for HED 3's?

Newbie here with a brand new set of Hed 3 front/rear clinchers…

Do I need to install rim tape?

No need for that - parhaps a little bit around the valve hole to protect the tube from the sharp edges

Nope. the only purpose of rim tape is to protect the tube against the spoke holes. You should not use rim tape on wheels without spoke holes, (i.e. HED 3, Mavic Ksyrium, disc wheels).

nope, none needed. Just put some around the valve hole (as mentioned earlier)
