Hello,
I will be visiting Tokyo for a quick business trip April 22 - April 27th and would really like to go riding on Saturday afternoon (April 24) or Sunday (April 25) Does anyone know where I might be able to rent or borrow a bike? And does anyone have any contacts for groups rides that might let an American tag along?

i’ll email my buddy who is living there for a few years. He always takes the train out of the city due to traffic. about 1hr each way. PM me tomorrow and see if I have an answer
Rentals here in Tokyo are not common and even if you could find a store that does, they would only have small sizes. Every shop (Narushima, Joker etc) has a Sunday ride but for the uninitiated, cycling in central Tokyo can be deadly (no bike lanes or shoulders mean you get really up close and personal with the big trucks). Go running instead. Around the palace moat, Yoyogi park, Shinjuku park, along the Tamagawa or Arakawa river or hook up with the Tokyo Harriers.
