For those of you who are doing the Tinsel Tri or know the Hemet area:
I need to get in 3 or 4 hours of riding on Sunday, and I’d rather do it right after the Tinsel tri and not after driving back home to UCLA. Does anyone know the area and can suggest a good ride? Also, does anyone else want to get in a few hours as well? You can find me by looking for the guy doing the race in the Spiderman bodysuit (couldn’t find a Santa one!). =)

Hey Marcus I am going to try to start a triathlon team at UCR. Could I ask you for some tips at the race or online here? I’ll be at the tinsel tri, and I’ll be the guy racing with the shortest shorts, no shirt, some really high socks that say UCR highlanders on them and some sunglasses and hopefully if I can find one a santa hat (tinsel is like my last yearly race I don’t take too seriously and just have some fun!) Oh yeah here are some rides not really in the hemet area, but a team I rode with last summer sunday mornings that meet in temecula where I live about a half hour away from hemet: saturdays were at the shop, sundays were at redhawk bikes in temecula

Yeah, let’s definitely talk at the race. Collegiate season for 2007 is all setup and should be a blast. It will be great to have some additional teams this year.
Also, thanks for the ride link.
Cheers,

there are NO paved roads in Hemet and all the peeps there have just 4 teeth. Thats where they film all the COPS and Americas Most Wanted shows…For Petes sake, be careful out there, and if you hear Banjos playing, run or bike faster…That is Ca hillbilly/redneck area!
