Riding in Berlin... (raceblades are amazing!)

It’s been weird here…last week there was one day in the 60s and all the trees budded. This week has been cold and rainy. The last two days have been mostly rain with short periods of snow around 35-40 degrees. Needless to say the roads haven’t been too packed

The thing I’ve learned is that the sks race blade fenders are amazing. It is unbelievable how much of a difference it makes to not have your butt and feet soaked while you’re riding and to be able to see fairly clearly. I’ve left them on my bike for about a month now.

Hi Dan

Looking good, I like the pro-style cap!

You should do the half in two weeks. It’s a great race.

Weather looking not so good for the next week either. Hang in there!

cheers from sunny Dublin

I can’t do the 1/2 b/c my family is visiting. I will try to do a 25k race they have though.

Let me know when you’re here.
That 25k is a sweet race. Not many of those distances left.
Send you a PM.
cheers

my taint hurts just looking at those cobbles
.

Why are you riding your race wheels in the rain?
If I were you I would be on a cheaper set of wheels.

front is a training wheel. Rear is a traing/racing wheel. I got a powertap 808 clincher for training and racing.
