Rides in Tarpon Springs, Holiday Fl

Hey all,

I will be in Holiday Florida for the weekend and will be bringing my bike. Any suggestions on where to ride would be greatly appreciated. I hope to do about 60 on Saturday so the backroads would be appreicated.

Jeff, you may want to call Lou’s Bicycle Center in Seminole, FL. They may have some ideas for you. Call 727-398-BIKE. Talk to Lou Desio.

Try the Sun Coast Trial it runs along the Sun Coast Parkway some 80 miles up and back. From the Holiday area find 54 and take it east 10 to 15 miles (best to drive there) follow the signs for the Sun Coast Parkway.

There are also many group ride on Sat and Sunday…

Should be a wonderful weekend in that part of the country. My cousin owns a restaurant in New Port Richey, Cafe Grand. If you burn off a bunch of calories on the ride you can replenish there, you won’t be disappointed.
