Reynolds Assault SLG vs FLO?

Need a new set of wheels that I can use for training AND racing…looking at the assault SLG and FLO 60/90 for iron distance training/racing. Hills aren’t much of a concern (live in FL)

you are not comparing the same kind of set of wheels.

take instead the reynolds strikes, those are 62mm deep and compare better than the assault.

reynolds will be lighter, most likely a stiffer wheels as it as a very strong rim
external nipples so easy to maintain
it s a full structural carbon

in term of aerodynamic, they both have almost identical shape. reynolds as done to the wider 25mm with buldge shape like most company do now.

they are not in the same price range.

.

Well, they are at totally different price points. Since you said training and racing, Id go with the FLOs. Id have a “cheap” set of wheels for the high wind training days though. You can handle it fine with the 600s but its not worth the risk for training IMO
