Not to take anything away from the other ladies (and I must confess I have not seen the start list yet) but this should be quite a match up! Pretty psyched that I will be there first hand to watch the battle unfold
Yes it will and it should be good! I don’t think Julie can run with Mirinda yet, so it will depend how far ahead she can get on the bike. My money would be on Rinny.

Last year out of 31 registered male pros, 15 started and 12 finished, so I wouldn’t put too much stock in their list of Pros until you see their bike racked on race morning.
Well that list has been paired down a bit already. Pre-Race Guide, Angela Naeth, Yvonne Van Vlerken, Magali Tisseyre were listed as well. Magali sort of surprised me that she dropped since it is at least semi-local to Montreal. Was not surprised on the drop out race since that was Rev 3s first as well. Have not looked and seen what the rate was for Knoxville.

I was too hung up on whether there was an ‘h’ or not at the end of Rebeccah and my head was just not in the game. I suppose that is almost as bad than when I have done Chris Maccormack.

Given Desiree, Dibens, and Carfrae, that actually may make sense. Quassy I think is also a bit more hilly of a course than Mooseman.

Looks like it should be a great race. No one will be able to have an “off” day and win this one.
I agree. Nothing stops someone from signing up for every 70.3 and IM race at the beginning of the season and then just not show up if it does fit into their schedule.
Terenzo hasn’t raced for 3 weekends leading into this event like he had at Knoxville. The mens race should be pretty interesting too.
