I am trying to rise from the ashes. The last two seasons have been crap. I haven’t even raced this season, as I can’t stay on a bike for more than an hour and a half without excruciating back pain.
I predict that next season will be better. Maybe I will feel more like writing shallower things when I get better. But I am ill and I cannot get past the pity party, which is why I have not been on the forum as of late.
I had bad back pain my fist 18 months of racing and training. I bought the Yoga for Athletes DVD and got a bike fit (not trying to say you need either). What I learned from my bike fit was the less aggressive position for me was crap, it put my back at a weird angle. I lower the bars into a more aggressive position and everything everything has been good since.
Back pain sucks brother bunny, I know whereof I speak. Find a good chiropractor and do some rehab. Don’t rush it and take time to start a core strengthening regimen.
Meanwhile, think good thoughts. Things could be worse. You could be old and gray, like me…
I thought this thread was about CNN’s recent talk of Life after Death experiences. The Gupta Dr. fellow came on, talked through the detailed reports of peoples coming back from the dead experiences - then he states that these experiences can all be accounted by brain physiology - - but then says essentially that CNN was still going to make fools of them selves and have a series about the spiritual side of the event.
