Rest or Train between weekly events

In the next 5 weeks I am doing a 1/2 ironman and 3 olympic distance triathlons…

the 1/2 ironman is first followed 5 days later by a tri
than 1 week off and than another tri each of the next two weeks.

Any advice on training while all this is going on? Do i rest between events, do i cut out doing weekly bricks, do i eliminate my long bike and runs during the week?

I used to do a series of 4 races in 5 weeks at the end of the season. Always found myself racing better at the end of the month. A couple of those races were 1/2 Vineman and Santa Barbara Long Course, so not just sprints.

I would suggest light workouts between races during the week. Treat each week almost as a taper week. Do primarily maintenance work with some fast sections if you feel your body is recovering.
