Reset Power Tap?

Got stuck in a storm the other day and was riding a borrowed Power Tap to train on, now when I don’t pedal it says 40 watts being produced. It looks good for the average, but I want it to read 0.

On the Felt DA, B2’s, how do you get lower than a horizontal stem? If you put it as a negative rise it comes out to be flat, but that is all the tweaking you can do. I looked at some pic’s from some other posts and see the guys not being as low as they could be.

You need to zero the torque.

The steps are, while coasting, use left button to select to current watts on the CPU. Hold down the right button until watts changes to the torque value. Hold down again while coasting ( applying no pressure to the pedals ) to set it to zero. Press the right button again once to change display back to watts.

You should now see 0 watts displayed when you’re coasting.
