Republicans aren’t hypocrites, they would always impeach a Democrat.
Speaking of hypocrites, look in the mirror kiddo. Why aren’t you supporting my position regarding impeachment of Trump in the Mueller testimony thread? Why aren’t you responding in disgust to Slowman, who has taken the opposite position?
It’s unbelievable that I’m not following every thread on this forum, or that you think I’m lumping you in with the ballwashers here and in Congress? I think you know better.

Yeah, I really did not mean to take a shot at you, but, I did mean to take a shot at chappy and the other Donkey ball-washers who will respond with consternation in this thread while turning a blind eye to the discussion in the Mueller thread, in which they are clearly participating.

I may be wrong, but I didn’t think you and Slowman were arguing about whether or not Trump should be impeached.

You would be wrong. We were arguing about both whether and how.

Ah ok. I only saw discussion about why Mueller had refrained from making a determination of whether or not Trump should be indicted.

To be clear - it isn’t whether Trump should be indicted. A sitting President cannot be indicted. So, Mueller could not indict Trump. The issue is whether Mueller should have reached a conclusion over whether Trump committed a crime. The second issue is whether Mueller should have recommended impeachment. We are at odds on those two points for the reasons we both argued (ad nauseum) in the other thread.

Yes, sorry - since posting my reply I realised I should have said “reached a conclusion re committing a crime,” not “indicted.”
But your discussion about what Mueller should have done re reaching a conclusion and/or recommending impeachment, is still different to discussing each of your positions on “whether or not Trump should be impeached.” The former is about what Mueller should or should not have done, and why, while the latter is about your (and Slowman’s) personal views over whether Trump should be impeached. Hence, my initial comment above.

Correct, but, we did also discuss whether Trump should be impeached. I say yes, Dan says no. Dan’s position is - Trump should be removed via the election process.
