Renting Tri Bike at 70.3 Waco

I am competing in my first IM race and it will be the Waco 70.3. I do not have a tri bike simply because I want to make sure I love this sport before investing insane amounts of cash in a bike.

Has any one rented a tri bike before at a race? If so, what did you think about it? I think the bikes rent for about $300 and if you want to upgrade the wheels to ZIPP’s then that is another $150 or so. Thanks.

If you aren’t training in an aero position, you shouldn’t be racing in one.
