I was wondering what the overall width (sans aluminum rim) of the disc wheels. and if any one knew how thick the carbon fiber was that they were using?
The Renn is flat, not including the aluminum I think it’s like 20-22mm wide.
The Hed is lenticular(lens shaped) and gets thicker as you go towards the hub. I don’t know the thickness of the carbon but I’ve seen some fairly old Hed discs.
If I were to choose between the two, it would be Hed.
