I want to remove some photo editing software I was testing on my MacBook Air. A few hours later, I’m not sure what I did and the software still seems to be there. Any hints?
Did you go to the Finder and select it from your Applications and delete it? Odd…I have been running Macs for over a decade and haven’t had any issues removing software using this process…but there is a first time for everything. What software program is it?
Capture One express for Sony.

Describe the process which you used to delete the software application please. I never go into my Library to remove preferences and support files because frankly it’s never caused me any issues. However, if you are having issues read this OSX doc and it will show you how to do so as it might help you with the Sony issue.

Dude, I don’t know what I was doing but just dragging from finder to trash seemed to work. Thanks for the hint and the link to the detailed document.
