Remove name from wetsuit?

So I should be listing my old wetsuit on eBay next week after my new QR is delivered by Mr. FedEx. I’m trying to figure out how best to remove my name from the old one - it’s in black Sharpie on the white name tag inside the suit. Anyone have any ideas other than scribble it out with another Sharpie?

I scrubed my name off with oxy clean befor selling my wetsuit. My name was still slightly visible but would hardly be noticable if someone wrote over it. I also tried terpentine but could never fully remove the marker.

can’t think of a better way right now, but I was wondering if this wetsuit sale will create another fedding frenzy on the forum (and will it drive up the price for you)?

I have used Cutters and or OFF (mosquito repelents) to remove sharpie markings from lots of items but have not tried it on wetsuits.

If you have the patience, give baking soda or talc powder a try. Sprinkle a good amount of talcum powder or baking soda over the affected area and allow to sit for a minimum of a few days. You may need even longer - like a week.

Why remove the name when you can auction it in here as “Becca’s wetsuit” and get a lot more money for it???

You think so? Not quite the same as selling some of my other articles of clothing… Thanks for the ideas guys. I’ll try a couple of them I think!

You might make more if you volunteer to post pics of you strippinig out of said wetsuit and then auctioning it off on the yet to launched e-twitch online auction service with proceeds going to Team Second Hand…
