Does anyone know how long it took last year to fill up?
Over a month. I think 5-6 weeks.

It didn’t fill up until after IMLP registration opened and closed in less than an hour. After that, IMCDA filled up within a matter of days.

On the same topic. How does someone who is not in Penticton,register for the next year event??
I know in the past you could have someone else get an app for you.
But I think last year they started with an ID check.
I would really like to do IMCDA 08 edition, but it is a long way from NY to BC just to apply.
Any help would be appreciated.

IMCDA is in Couer d’Alene, Idaho. IMC is in Penticton, BC, Canada. The last few years they have allowed people to register one other person, the ID check was just an easy way to get the personal info.

I thought that for the 25th anniverary you had to be there personally to register and couldn’t have someon else register you?

You can also try to qualify at various events around canada. Just don’t do it at Muskoka because that’s my plan. 
You must now be on site to register for IMC. If you are there get in line early, the race sells out in a few hours.
