Seriously, with so many sub 3 capable runners chasing down bikers like macel, granger and badmann it’s not just chrissie who’ll be setting the lava fields on fire.
For me, the womens race is the one to watch this year given how close places 2-5 are likely to be.
I don´t think Granger is that fast and Badmann´s time have passed. To me, the real fast girls this year are Wellington, Macel, Keat, Carfrae and maybe, just maybe McGlone.
At Rev3 only Carfrae was faster than Badmann so I wouldn’t rule her out…I would however put Carfrae firmly in that sub 3 category. Along with those you mentioned also add Van Vlerken, Sandra Wollenhurst and possibly Bella Comerford now she is doing better in the heat (Lanzarote)
McGlone could be interesting…
Also, I don’t believe Michellie Jones is showing up to make up the numbers. This will be her first truly fit appearance since she won if i recall correctly…she will be in the mix for sure.
