I was having this wheel built for my TT bike to be paired with my Zipp 404 front wheel. While this wheel was being built I was able to get an 808. I included the picture with the 808 so you could see it’s the same shape. I actually prefer the look of this wheel to the yellow tint of the Zipps.
I’ve never mounted a tire, it has a brand new FSA rim strip. The hub is a little used it’s smooth as glass. The freehub action has almost no friction and the bearings roll like butter. Its built on DT Swiss competition spokes with alloy nipples. Weighing 1125 grams you’ll fly with this wheel. Matte UD Carbon fiber with bassalt reinforced brake surface.
