I’m a little over a semester away from graduating and I’m trying to plan a ~10 day getaway for after graduation. I was thinking about taking a mountain biking/ camping/ hiking trip up in Alaska somewhere. Does have any good recommendations for places to spend a little over a week up there? I’ve never been.
Sounds awsome! im hoping to do something simmilar in a couple years when i graduate. alaska is awsome, however you may be limited on places you can mountainbike. most of the national parks wont let you bike on the trails and alot of the really cool stuff to see and do in alaska is national park land. we were considering moab in utah or sedona/flagstaff area in arizona
Get a guide, and carry a gun. Seriously.

Having lived up there, carrying a gun in the bush is a smart idea. Make sure it is capable of taking down a brown bear too.
Better yet, get a guide that carries a gun.
