so last night did my first 10 mile TT, and finished in 32 minutes (and beat two men!! yay!). next time if i warm up and put air in my tires i believe i can shave it to 30 minutes–we’ll see. (i know, i know, you told me to warm up. i got there late due to storms slowing traffic. so i just had to get to the start and do the best i could).
i was the only woman (marisol, greydog, swimbikerun, et al, love to see you come out!!), but the guys were really nice, got alot of compliments on my bike. They called me Miss Bianchi, a name I don’t mind at all 
. It took 5.17 miles for the fastest men to catch me (so you guessed it, i was hurting at mile 5 
.
anyway, if any of you peeps want to come out it would be reall swell. it’s for fun (no awards or anything like this…just personal satisfaction, a good group of folks who show up weekly, and is a way to gauge your improvement through the season) and is every TUE at 6:30 pm in Cleves.

Hey Lady! Sounds like you had a great time. I will ask the fellow ST ladies from Cincy to come out next week. We should all get together at some point anyway, it’s the perfect excuse. I will not be at Ault Park tonight for the race, I have to teach a class for someone, don’t know about Marisol either.
How many people total did the tt last night? Great job…
yeah, it would be fun for us all to meet up sometime and that is a good place to do it–those men wouldn’t know what to do if alot of ladies were there…lol! it was cute, they said, “we like you being here, until you start beating us”. by the end of summer i want to be at 28, still not beating them, but closer.
but to stop babbling and answer your question, overall maybe 15 people were ther and possibly a few more. good stuff.
oh, and it’s 15 bucks, which squares you away for the whole summer. it goes until Sept sometime.
