Recovery Drinks (1)

I am trying to save some money by not using Sports Drink designed for “Recovery” after long workouts (6-Hr ride/2+hr run). I am guessing that I can by just eating “regular” food that i can get from a grocery store. What are some of ur suggestions that i can eat to replace a recovery sports drink and still be effective? Please kindly advise. Thank you all!

I like chocolate milk :D. Sometimes I mix in some whey protein if I think I need it.

Ditto on the chocolate milk.

Chocolate milk here too

I eat a lot of whole grain bread too.

Yogurt and juice in a blender.

Not a chocolate milk fan but I looooove strawberry milk.

Choclate soy milk with a peanut butter, banana and honey sandwich.

These are great info. Thank you so much!!
