My race bike is now ready for the ironman season.
The bike includes a special saddle for long distance, with an elevated nose, for that aggressive aero position.
The seat post angle is approximately 87 degrees.
As you can see profile aerodrink is used for hydration and an ironman little box is there for energy gels,
my house keys (if I DNF early, and my wife is not at home), and a mobile phone.
The bar ends are carbon fibre:
And it is easy to carry to the race. So unlike Demerley, I don’t need a big boxy Honda Element:
