2 years ago I stayed at the Edge of the Lake Motel just outside of town on 86, it actually sat right on Lake Placid and was walkable to town. The nice part being it had a small kitchentte which made meals easier, healthier and cheaper than going out for every meal.
Unfortunately, I have heard that the Edge of the Lake is no longer there. Can anyone else recommend a place in or near town that has rooms with kitchenettes?
