Just moved to the area and considering upgrading my tri ride. thoughts on a few places to check out? I know Richardson Bike Mart obviously, where else? Opinions on RBM - do they have folks who know tri or is more road/MTB focused?
RBM or Plano Cycling are your best option, they both have folks who know tri. Plano Cycling is a good option, I remember one guy was very knowledgeable on tri, his name was Alver Dunbar, told me about all the clubs around there and helped me out on some things.
I’d go with RBM, because of the size of options, hopefully someone will post who is good at RBM, but I don’t know em.
I would highly recommend Plano Bike Mart. Alver, the sales manager there, is an experienced triathlete.
That being said, I think RBM carries a lot more Tri accessories.
Good luck,
Bob
