I am taking my P2C for a 1,500 mile ride on the car. My existing hitch bike rack I don’t think will be gentle enough with my P2C.
Can someone recommend a good roof bike rack? I am thinking the type that has a fork mount would be the least risky.
I am looking at purchasing a 2 bike Thule Prologue.
Thanks!
I just installed a Thule Prologue 2 bike fork mount on my car. Installation was easy on my Subaru Tribeca with Factory cross bars. My wife used it for a 800 mile trip for her bike and it worked fine. I will be using it for my Fl 70.3 trip from PA in May for my p2c. I will also probably get a skin to protect the bike a bit. Good luck.

I actually recommend the hitch racks, but only the ones with the wheel trays that support the bike from the wheels, not the top tube. Keeps the bike cleaner, keeps you cleaner since you are not removing wheels, etc. It’s the only rack I use on my cars these days for any bike.
I have the Thule Peloton, Fork mount.
I definitly recommand forck mount.
Last year, I drove from Montreal to IM Florida 2000 miles in and 2500 miles back (we had to visit NO and Chicaog
), with the bike on the roof, no problemo !
A Thule keeps coming up on bonktown.
