I just bought a Cervelo P3C frame and want a good aero bar that is UCI legal since most of my racing will by USA cycling races and time trials at stage races. I’m tempted to go with a bar that is reasonably priced and that does NOT have an integrated stem - I want to be able to pick my own stem length. I know that the FSA Vision bars are reasonable. The FSA Vision Tech Trimax Alloy Si seem like a good choice. I don’t know if they are UCI legal or not. They list for $289 on the site below. Are there other bars out there that would be a good choice that also don’t break the bank and are UCI legal? I would also consider buying carbon bars used if I could find them.
