I am about to replace the Wolf TT fork on my Cervelo P3C frame with the Look HSC 5 SL. This is an all-carbon, integrated-style fork that doesn’t use any crown race. Can I use the Chris King Nothreadset headset for this fork/frame combination? If not, can you recommend another top-end headset? Many thanks!
You can’t use the King, you have to use the same style of headset that comes specced as standard on the bike, and frankly the FSA HS that Cervelo specs is as good as it gets in this type of headset.
You can buy a different brand, but you can’t buy a different style, FSA/TH industries makes almost all of the headsets of this type on the market, and if FSA didn’t make it, it’s probably a step down in quality no matter how much it cost.

Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it. I’ve never needed any help with bike builds or wrenching, but things are a-changing. I find it increasingly difficult to navigate my way through the swelling chaos of parts!
