What’s the deal? I just got mine last week. All the instructions and manuals call out a serial port connector and a serial to USB adapter. All I have is a USB with a cable that has the jack connector at the end. Anyone else receive only this part too? Are they sending out an updated parts kit without updating their fucking instruction manuals and directions?
Do I need to install the serial to USB driver for this to work?
Their customer support is very good, have you tried calling them?

It still doesn’t answer the question about needing to install a driver. I guess I’ll find out in several minutes…
And, yes, you do have to install the serial to USB adapter driver eventhough there’s no serial port/adapter/device in use.
