I was hoping somebody had some suggestions for dvd’s for indoor rides this winter. I remember seeing an advertisement a long time ago offering “real rides” such as the kona course, and other iron distance courses. Does anyone know who produces these. google search failed me.

realrides.ca has a few: IMC, IMCdA, and IMSG, plus some random rides. I ordered one (IMC) last week but it hasn’t arrived yet, so I can’t comment on the quality. Spinervals has IMOO and IMLP, they’re not too bad - the commentary keeps things interesting and it’s set up just like a normal Spinervals workout (with gearing, intensity, and a timer).
The endurance films “Rides” DVDs are really good. There is a Chris Carmacheal Tour of California DVD that is really good also.
Buy a GoPro and make your own. That’s what I did. Now I just play them on my TV and listen to my music. I’ve got all my local places both mtn bike and road and Kona and Maui.
