There of course a God to triathlon his name is Jesus! He is also the God of everything and our saviour. Anything else is wrong. It is in the 10 commandments. Read a King James version and no other as alot of real text has been taken out of the other bibles. Example there has been 1200 changes to the New King James version and some 600 changes to the NIV version. Interesting history behind the translations and the reasons for it. Long story!
Always a Jesus freak…

I thought Jebus was the son of God. I don’t think she’d like you calling her son the “God of everything” when she is the all powerful being.
that’s just plain silly… I bet about a million more changes from the original greek, note I did not say hebrew and sure as hell not english.
Yeh I agree,
She definitly wouldn’t like that .
Alannis Morisette was a hot god in Dogma
.
Hell yeh…
sorry but very ignorant post in reference to the KJB. First english is not even close to any of the ancient tonges. Try greek better… anyways not the place for this type of posts.
Peace
VERY VERY paganistic! I’m so sorry for you!
Jesus was a pagan . Read the Gnostic gospels.
Well smartie do you know there are three lines of which bibles come from. The men that introduced the changes had a very real reason for changing the bible. They where pagan worshippers that followed a certain persons teaching that derive from Egypt(obvious pagans) I have seen there letters that where sent back and forth telling each other the little tweeks here and there that they where implementing. There are a few places in the NIV version you will see that say this text wasn’t from the original translation. If you are taking about the translation that the Jesuit or the Catholic bibles came from then no they weren’t in them, but if you take it from the Lost Manuscripts of the Traditional Texts then they where.
Who gives a shit ?
The earth, the air, the fire, the water, return, return, return…
Gnostic gospels…I see your problem.
God save you!
People don’t need to be saved my friend.
Jesus was a pagan.
I always thought he was Jewish.
I am well informed about this subjetc, not trying to be “smartie”. Not the place to discuss it nor was the subjetc of the thread. There is even huge debate between KJB 1611 and New KJB advocates, go figure…
Peace
If you are well informed and care to be more informed then please send me your address and I can supply you with a very intense lecture of the battle of the bibles, or go to amazing discoveries and order it yourself!
The Gnostic bible isn’t the problem. The problem is that you have to believe that what someone wrote at least 30 years after it happened is completely true and divinely inspired. Then you have to believe that for 200 to 300 years it was kept pure. Then you have to believe that the people who got together to put the bible together were divinely inspired. Then you have to believe that for the years of the dark ages when no one saw a bible that it wasn’t messed with then.
But then comes a even bigger problem. One of the tenants used during the cannonization was that the scripture needed to be universally accepted amongst the other churches. So now its not really about what was there at the time of Christ it is really about what got filtered through and survived till the time of the cannonization. I have no problem with Jesus he is a great role model but the leap that it takes when you really look at the history of the bible and the entire religon is pretty extreme. Its not out of the question but its seems like you have to suppress some reasoning for it to work.
“There of course a God to triathlon his name is Jesus! He is also the God of everything and our saviour. Anything else is wrong.”
Apparently more than two thirds of the population living on this planet are wrong, as well as the vast majority of people who have already passed on throughout the course of history. Even amongst your own religion there is not complete agreement as to whether Jesus is God or just the son of God. Just the fact that you refer to different versions of your Bible demonstrates that there is divergent beliefs, thus lowering the number who believe as you do.
Just for a moment assume that you are correct. If a person were out there struggling in a triathlon and asked Jesus for help, why would Jesus even care? It’s not as if competing in triathlon is furthering the lessons of Jesus. Among those who ask for such help, will all be given the help requested? Why or why not? If not, why are certain people selected over others? If Jesus was asked to provide a safe race or that everyone played fairly it might be an indication these type of requests are being ignored if you regularly read the threads about many of the races.
Lastly - shouldn’t this type of nonsense be in the LR?
And as I’m sure you know, the greek version was derived from aramaic, which was derived from a century or two of oral history, which was derived from eyewitness stories, which was derived from the events themselves. Mr. CerveloP3 Jesus Man and all his kindred spirits scare the crap out of me, simply b/c he’s so gullible to the pablum that right wing feeds him for breakfast. God save us all from small thoughts.
