I had a chance to read throught the RD Aids section and was impressed with the scope and detail with one GLARING OMISSION. If an RD follows this and only this, god help them if someone goes down on the course because you completely forgot to include medical support anywhere in your document. There are many trained medical personel out there experienced and willing to help race directors arrange medical support, so availability is never an issue unless it is forgotten about until a week before the race. Recent events in triathlon underscore the need for this.
