A quick poll: let say you are married, time constrained, therefore wishing to aquire a Performance Enhancing Device (that what PED should stand for, it is far less harmful to sport and much more fun) such as either Rotorcranks or Powercranks, and know that you will only manage to buy one of the two systems this year (or you’ll have to pay a divorce attorney as well).
I intend to buy both within the next few years, putting the PCs on my training bike and the RCs on my Race Day bike.
Which cranks would you buy first: RCs or PCs?
Well, this is my daily silly question, and if you think the title has nothing to do with the contents of the post, I am afraid you are right, but at least you have read my post ;-).
And yes, I would like to get your opinion, if you are not too mad at me…(c’mon I know you aren’t).
buy the PC’s first. They take longer to adapt to and will do more for you. I love my RC’s, but I think that the PC’s have helped me out in the running department as well. If you want immediate results on the racing front, then go with the RC’s.
I should have mentioned that I am more of a roadie that might indulge in a few duathlons and some running races every year (and who swims like an anchor) . So I am more interested in the Bike-related benefits of RCs and PCs.
Well, looks like a good title’s not enough, you get views but no answers.
Deception does not seem to work.
C’mon, be good to cyclingfrenchie, do not sulk, pardon his playful stupidity, go beyond bitter disappointment and give him some advice on the never-ending quest for speed.
this may or may not be obvious, but if your change the title on your post to reflect its contents you might get some hits from people who actually know something about the actual topic. otherwise you’ll get a lot of perverts, like me.
Well, I have been thinking about it, and will follow your advice…looks like there are not lots of perverts amongst PC/RC users. Frank and Gary must have some kind of good influence…
