The Velonews article says that what got Rasmussen fired was that the team found out today that he had actually been in Italy in June when he had told the the team that he was training in Mexico. Wonder why he would not want his team and the Danish cycling authorities to know he was in Italy . . .
AAARRRGGGHHHH!!! It’s like an abusive relationship. I keep saying I’m going to quit watching and then I get pulled back in during an exciting stage. I’m watching VS right now and the crawl just flashed across the screen. I feel dirty just watching it.
I think there is more to the story. That stand to much to loose with him about to win the tour. Post season I could understand, but there has to be something else that is not coming out behind this.
